Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea

Yesterday we watched "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" movie. The cuteness and the creative animations made me like this movie as much as the rest of the Studio Ghibli movies like Totoro, Spirited Away, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke...

Anyway, after watching the movie, I've earned a nickname Ponyo!!! Lg said I look and behave like Ponyo, so from now on he will call me Ponyo! He even listed out the similarities between Ponyo and me.

+I love to eat HAM and I don't like to eat bread!

+My voice is quite similar to Ponyo (when shouting, hahaha).

+I fall asleep easily and the moment I feel like sleeping I can just cuddle in my corner immediately without caring about anything.

+He "found" me near the sea.

+I like to cling on Lg like how Ponyo clung on Sosuke, like a Koala hugging a tree actually.

+Ponyo looks cute, but she is quite sassy! Hahahaha.

Her action of spitting water is very cute though.

If you haven't watched this movie, here is the trailer for you!

I haven't seen it yet. It is set at beautiful location near Hiroshima. Sadly, there is a company planning to build a ferry terminal and 160 car parking lot on re-claimed land there - all to service an island that only has a population of 700. It could spoil the beautiful view. I hope it is stopped. Time to stop thinking about only money and save what is left of nature for future generations to enjoy.

Sorry to get on a rant. Looks like a cute movie.
