Avocado Exfoliating Scrub

A homemade remedy that gives my skin a beautiful glow! It's avocado and sugar scrub. Avocados provide nutritions that help to hydrate the skin and cures acne, while sugar gently exfoliates the skin.

Now get ready with one ripe avocado and a teaspoon of sugar.

Side note: Avocados are rarely found ripe in the supermarket. After choosing a firm avocado, allow it to ripen naturally at room temperature for a few days. Ripe avocados can be kept uncut in the refrigerator. Unripe avocados should not be refrigerated because they will never ripen properly.

Cut avocado in half around the seed and then twist the two halves in opposite directions to separate them apart. Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh. You only need 1 tablespoon of avocado. Mash up that portion and add 1 teaspoon of sugar to the mixture.

Save the unused avocado flesh to savour later, slice it and add to salad or sandwich or make avocado smoothie with milk and pudding! I crave for that smoothie all the time!

Spread the mixture evenly over your face while gently massaging into the skin, avoid the eye area.

Leave it on for 10 minutes before washing off with water.

Try it and see how it works on you!
