Singapore Botanic Gardens 2009

I went to the Botanic Gardens last weekend!

Walking inside Botanic Garden is a good exercise for me.

When I reached the Swan lake, I saw so many groups of people around there. There were a group of kids drawing the Swans Statue, there were groups of people having picnics, there were another group feeding the "celebrity Swan" with bread. I didn't bring any bread with me!

At the Cactus garden, I saw a dog walked in front of its owner. It saw us and ran toward me! Aww, I was so happy and hugged it. There were so many people bringing their dogs to the garden. I want to bring Xiao Bai here next time too!

I walked a lot in the sun but I hardly get any tan. My complexion is really weird, I won't get tanned easily.

Enjoying the nature surroundings and imagining the piano tunes performed by Chopin!

...Remember that piano
So delightful unusual

That classic sensation

Sentimental confusion...

I was looking for this heritage tree and I found it, near to the pretty white gazebo area.

Exploring around and found these statues!

Inside the Evolution Garden! I tried to look for some Dinosaur eggs!

I posted about Botanic garden in 2006 too. Check it out here.

Have a nice day everyone! Bye for now!

What a beautiful place to spend the day. Xiao Bai would love it. I like the orchid pic in your old post too.

As for not tanning, that is just in your genes. Your body isn't able to produce the melanin which makes the color of a tan. It is still good to get sun, as that is where you get vitamin D which is important in preventing cancer and keeping bones strong, but you also need to be careful not get sunburned.

Pandabonium: Thank you for your advice, I always try not to get sunburned, it hurts! XD

I always bring Xiao Bai to some parks near to my place, but not Botanic Gardens yet! I want to bring Xiao Bai there one day, that day will be the most memorable day for him, because he will get to travel very far and see the most beautiful park in Singapore!
